Rhoda Kuflik was only two years old when the Germans invaded her hometown of Kuty, Poland. Together with her family, Rhoda sought refuge from German persecution. Depending on the kindness of strangers, Rhoda and her family struggled for ten years to find safety before finally arriving in the United States.
In her memoir, I Remember: A Miraculous Story of Survival, Rhoda details her family’s escape and their efforts to help others from their community find safe passage.
Copies of I Remember: A Miraculous Story of Survival available for purchase and signing at the event. This event is a part of Chhange’s Survivor Speaker Series, celebrating our 40th Anniversary!
