Photography isn’t all about the camera – it is also about your lens choice.

A lens shapes the way for you to “see” the world through your viewfinder. The creative use of lenses gives your photographs their distinctive, expressive qualities.

Michael is constantly being asked “What lens should I use? There is no one right answer to this question. It is dependent on what you are photographing and what perspective you want of the scene, subject or point of view.

There are many lens choices from a 8mm to a 1600mm and your lens choice makes all the difference in the perspective, mood and feel of your photograph. Different lenses for different types of photography and perspective.

How do you know which one to use? This workshop will enlighten you to what lenses can do for you and which ones to consider based on how you want your images perceived

The two images below were taken from the exact same location, the tripod did not move, the only difference is the lens that Michael chose to make the image with.
