Bad Medicine is a suspenseful comedy with a touch of romance. Ackley Hornsby is the worlds greatest novelist, but writes under the pen name, Brenton Love. A germaphobe, a hopeless hypochondriac and a recluse, Ackley refuses to leave his apartment. As the release of his highly anticipated newest work is about to be released, he begins to receive death threats. Now, Ackley is in a race to find out who is trying to take his life, as impending doom approaches.
