The trolley is back! Tickets are now on sale for the popular annual restaurant tour & business showcase, Taste Of Atlantic Highlands. The event, hosted by the Atlantic Highlands Chamber of Commerce (AHCOC) and presented by Premier Sponsor, Resources Real Estate, will be held on Sunday, September 19 from 12 pm to 4 p.m., rain or shine. The event is a fantastic way to experience the eclectic atmosphere and unique restaurants and businesses in Atlantic Highlands. The tour starts at Veterans Park, directly across from Borough Hall, and the trolley will make stops up and down First Avenue; on Center Street; on West Street; across Highway 36 to Bayshore Plaza; up to the Strauss Mansion/Atlantic Highlands Historical Society on Prospect Circle; back around to Carton Brewing; and then down to the beautiful Harbor with lots more stops along the way! Most of the tour can also be done on foot for those who like to walk! Guests will enjoy a ‘taste’ from each participant, and special sales and promotions will be held by retail stores along the route. Several businesses are offering prizes and special give-a-ways.
