2020 is “The Year of Basie!” and you are invited to continue to celebrate Black History Month with the kick-off reception for William James “Count” Basie and the 85th Anniversary of The Count Basie Orchestra, which is still performing to sold-out audiences. Let’s show The Count some LOVE with the reading of LOVE LETTERS to the King of Swing written by well known musicians and others. Letters will be read by invited guests in between musical interludes. Collaborate with the T. Thomas Fortune Cultural Center and find out how you, your organization, business and service can participate in “The Year of Basie.” His legacy and the indelible mark he left on America’s original sound JAZZ and popular music LIVES ON. Light refreshments served. Masks Required.

YOU MUST RSVP as space is limited 732-383.5483 or info@tthomasfortunefoundation.org
